Master’s Degree in Textile Innovation and Management
The Master’s in Textile Innovation and Management at ISMOD is a qualification registered with the RNCP, Level 7, delivered over two years and designed to train creative and technical managers at the intersection of engineering, advanced design and business strategy, capable of leading the “fourth industrial revolution” within the textile sector.
This programme is perfectly aligned with the needs of managers in the fashion sector, who are seeking creative, passionate, curious and motivated collaborators.
The ISMOD Master’s enables students to be fully operational from their first professional experience. Courses, conferences, masterclasses and Business Games are delivered by professionals who are experts in their respective fields.

Prerequisites
ENTRY LEVEL(S)
Bachelor’s degree / Licence and Bac+4
Prerequisites: The Master’s in Textile Innovation and Management at ISMOD is open to holders of a Bachelor’s degree / Licence or any other Level 6 qualification and, for entry into the second year of the Master’s programme, to candidates who have validated a Master 1 or have obtained a waiver from the certifying body.
Admission is based on the review of the application file and may include an interview.
Programme objectives
The Master’s degree in Textile Innovation and Management at ISMOD is a State-recognised Level 7 qualification aimed at achieving the following objectives:
Integrate sensors, LEDs, or conductive fibres into textiles for health, sport, or defence applications in order to design smart textiles
Develop alternatives to petroleum-based materials (pineapple fibres, mushroom-based fibres, chemical recycling of cotton)
Use computer-aided design (CAD) and new rapid prototyping methods
Create products with their end-of-life considerations integrated from the outset
Implement systems for waste collection, recycling, and upcycling
Master certification standards (GOTS, OEKO-TEX) and ensure supply chain transparency
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams (designers, engineers, marketers)
Optimise global logistics flows while reducing the carbon footprint
Position a technical or ethical product effectively within a competitive market
Teaching Methods and Assessment
Assessment Methods: Case studies and/or tests and/or essays and/or text analyses and/or multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and/or oral assessments and/or research projects / Continuous assessment / Work-study and competency evaluation (written + oral) / Thesis defence / Professional evaluation in the company
Programme Summary Documents: Course materials (PDF, and/or Word, and/or PPT formats), case studies and/or audio and video resources, and any exercises to be completed during the programme
Duration of Studies:
DURATION OF STUDIES:
- 2 years for students holding a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification, and 1 year for students who have completed the first year of a Master’s programme.
- Work-study programme available.
This programme does not offer any equivalences or transfer pathways.
Students entering the first year of the Master’s programme are required to validate all skills blocks
Admission Procedures and Deadlines
Access deadlines
- Registrations for the September 2026 intake will take place from 1 March to 20 September 2026.
- Registrations for the January 2027 deferred intake will continue until 18 December 2026.
Modalities
Access to our programmes may be initiated:
- By the employer,
- At the employee’s initiative, with their employer’s agreement,
- By a student or their legal guardian
- Work-study is available from the third year onwards
Upon completion of the application form, our institution undertakes to respond within 72 hours.
If the programme requires specific prerequisites, we will propose, regardless of the funding method you are considering, a knowledge assessment and/or a positioning interview (by telephone or videoconference) and/or a review of your application file.

Validation of competency blocks:
Block 1: Create and develop a digital entrepreneurship project with the support of AI
Block 2: Design a digital project using a UX Design approach adapted to AI
Block 3: Lead a digital project using agile methodology, preparing its functional specifications and technical requirements
Block 4: Develop an e-marketing and communication strategy for a digital entrepreneurship project with the support of AI
Block 5: Conduct studies and write reports in competitive intelligence and business strategy
