Master’s Degree in Fashion Business
The Master’s in Fashion Business at ISMOD is a qualification registered with the RNCP, Level 7, delivered over two years and designed to train managers at the intersection of creativity and commercial strategy, capable of understanding how to transform an artistic vision into a sustainable commercial success.
This programme is perfectly aligned with the needs of managers responsible for fashion enterprises, who are seeking creative, passionate, curious and motivated collaborators.

Prerequisites
ENTRY LEVEL(S)
Bachelor’s degree / Licence and Bac+4
Prerequisites: The Master’s in Fashion Business at ISMOD is open to holders of a Bachelor’s degree / Licence or any other Level 6 qualification and, for entry into the second year of the Master’s programme, to candidates who have validated a Master 1 or have obtained a waiver from the certifying body.
Admission is based on the review of the application file and may include an interview.
Programme objectives
The Master’s degree in Fashion Business at ISMOD is a State-recognised Level 7 qualification aimed at achieving the following objectives:
Master the history, trends, and evolution of styles to anticipate the market
Understand the different strategies of Haute Couture, Luxury, Ready-to-Wear, and Fast Fashion
Comprehend intellectual property law (design protection) and trademark law
Learn to build and maintain a brand’s DNA to ensure long-term desirability
Master influence, social media, and e-reputation, essential in a sector where image is paramount
Plan the product mix (number of models, pricing, release timing) to maximise sales
Select appropriate suppliers, manage raw materials, and optimise production costs
Organise the sales space (physical or digital) to drive purchase decisions
Understand the challenges of import-export and global distribution
Integrate ethics and circular economy principles into the business model, a key expectation of today’s consumers
Utilise AI and data analysis for sales forecasting, as well as blockchain for garment traceability
Teaching Methods and Assessment
Assessment Methods: Case studies and/or tests and/or essays and/or text analyses and/or multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and/or oral assessments and/or research projects / Continuous assessment / Work-study and competency evaluation (written + oral) / Thesis defence / Professional evaluation in the company

Duration of Studies:
DURATION OF STUDIES:
- 2 years for students holding a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification, and 1 year for students who have completed the first year of a Master’s programme.
- Work-study programme available.
This programme does not offer any equivalences or transfer pathways.
Students entering the first year of the Master’s programme are required to validate all skills blocks
Admission Procedures and Deadlines
Access deadlines
- Registrations for the September 2026 intake will take place from 1 March to 20 September 2026.
- Registrations for the January 2027 deferred intake will continue until 18 December 2026.
Modalities
Access to our programmes may be initiated:
- By the employer,
- At the employee’s initiative, with their employer’s agreement,
- By a student or their legal guardian
- Work-study is available from the third year onwards
Upon completion of the application form, our institution undertakes to respond within 72 hours.
If the programme requires specific prerequisites, we will propose, regardless of the funding method you are considering, a knowledge assessment and/or a positioning interview (by telephone or videoconference) and/or a review of your application file.

Validation of competency blocks:
Block 1: Create and develop a digital entrepreneurship project with the support of AI
Block 2: Design a digital project using a UX Design approach adapted to AI
Block 3: Lead a digital project using agile methodology, preparing its functional specifications and technical requirements
Block 4: Develop an e-marketing and communication strategy for a digital entrepreneurship project with the support of AI
Block 5: Conduct studies and write reports in competitive intelligence and business strategy
