Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion and Entrepreneurship (ModE)
The Bachelor in Fashion and Entrepreneurship (ModE) at ISMOD is a qualification registered with the RNCP, Level 6, designed to train hybrid profiles capable not only of creating garments and brands but, above all, of building a viable business and brand, combining creative expertise with commercial know-how.
This programme is perfectly aligned with the needs of managers in fashion organisations, who are seeking creative, passionate, curious and motivated collaborators.
The ISMOD Bachelor ModE enables students to be fully operational from their first professional experience or to pursue further studies at Bac+4/5 level. Courses, conferences, masterclasses and Business Games are delivered by professionals who are experts in their respective fields.
Students also benefit from connections with our network of premium partner companies for the completion of their work-study programme.

FURTHER STUDIES
This Bachelor’s degree is professionally oriented and therefore leads directly to employment. You also have the opportunity to enrol in the first year of a Master’s degree programme.
Prerequisites
ENTRY LEVEL(S)
Baccalaureate and Bac+2
Prerequisites: The Bachelor in Fashion and Entrepreneurship (ModE) at ISMOD is open to holders of a baccalaureate qualification and, for entry into the third year, to holders of a BTS or any other Level 5 qualification.
Admission is based on the review of the application file and may include an interview.
Programme objectives
The Bachelor in Fashion and Entrepreneurship (ModE) at ISMOD is a state-recognised Level 6 qualification aimed at achieving the following objectives:
- Understand trends, identify market niches and study consumer behaviour
- Learn to position a brand (luxury, premium, fast fashion) and define its visual identity
- Master social media and e-commerce, now essential pillars of the sector
- Develop a business plan, manage production budgets and set profitable selling prices
- Protect your creations (intellectual property) and understand commercial contracts
- Learn to coordinate different service providers (suppliers, workshops, logistics)
- Understand the production process, from sketch to prototype
- Learn to select raw materials, with increasing attention to eco-responsibility and ethics
- Master basic software (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) to create sales materials or moodboards
Teaching Methods and Assessment
Assessment Methods: Case studies and/or tests and/or essays and/or text analyses and/or multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and/or oral assessments and/or research projects / Continuous assessment / Work-study and competency evaluation (written + oral) / Thesis defence / Professional evaluation in the company
Programme Summary Documents: Course materials (PDF, and/or Word, and/or PPT formats), case studies and/or audio and video resources, and any exercises to be completed during the programme

DURATION OF STUDIES:
- 3 years for students holding a Baccalaureate or an equivalent qualification
- Work-study programme available from the third year onwards
This programme does not offer any equivalences or transfer pathways.
Students entering the first year of the Master’s programme are required to validate all skills blocks
Admission Procedures and Deadlines
Access deadlines
- Applications for the September 2025 intake are open from 1 March to 20 September 2025.
- Applications for the deferred January 2026 intake remain open until 18 December 2026.
Modalities
Access to our programmes may be initiated:
- By the employer,
- At the employee’s initiative, with their employer’s agreement,
- By a student or their legal guardian
- Work-study is available from the third year onwards
Upon completion of the application form, our institution undertakes to respond within 72 hours.
If the programme requires specific prerequisites, we will propose, regardless of the funding method you are considering, a knowledge assessment and/or a positioning interview (by telephone or videoconference) and/or a review of your application file.
